I wish I was not such a potty mouth when it happens to me!

I hate when that happens....if I am listening REALLY carefully while sewing, I can hear that my bobbin is about empty...sort of a metal echo sound...but if I am listening to music, or talking while sewing, I don't hear that sound, and then I often sew with no thread.

    Welcome to the club!

Trudy Hughes once spoke at a guild meeting and told us she had a record of sewing the longest with no bobbin thread......45 minutes!

I swear I'd have slit my throat.

You would think I would check the bobbin more often. The cover is clear. LOL! Did the same thing the other day.

My pfaff has a low bobbin light that comes on and spoils me! Then when I switch over to a different machine, I forget to watch. Went almost 2 feet today with no bobbin thread. Just glad DH wasn't home, he would still be laughing at me!

I too have done this many times but with me it is usually with-in 1to2 inches from finish end. LOL

All pins were gone and rows not sewn together. What a bummer. I had to re-pin almost the entire row and start over. I sure wish I had a red light or something to warn me of the empty bobbin. So I just stopped went to Hancock for sewing machine oil and thread. Then back home to clean machine and fill the bobbin to begin again.

Been there done that, more than once.
