Default Josephine's Knot quilt

Anyone here made this quilt? I am taking a class for this pattern in a few weeks and was looking for ideas for fabric colors. Not many images of this pattern online made in different colorways.

I've not made that pattern, but it looks like another for my bucket list! I think I would go with differing shades of one color. The new collection at Connecting Threads in naturals would be a good choice for me. I just don't think the pattern is calling for brights, but that is my opinion. Be sure to let us know what you choose!

I have not made that pattern, but I sure do like it!

As for a color idea - how about a black background with brightly colored "knots".

I think that is a stunning pattern, and versatile.

i had a customer who made this quilt in christmas fabrics last year- it was Wonderful! she used a white on white snowflake fabric for the background & reds, greens & golds in the designs- it turned out so elegant looking! it is one of those patterns that anything you like would work as long as you have good contrast/values. i'm excited to see what you decide on

I'm cutting the pattern out today as I am doing the class on March 9th. It looks like an easy to read pattern. I've
Taken one of her classes before and Debbie is a great teacher.

I suggest that you look at the thread about the new year quilting day. AlthOugh not same pattern but a similar idea and people put their quilts in , in. A multitude of colour mixtures.

Have the pattern but have not made it yet. Good luck, wish I were there to do it with you.

It's just different shades of green. I'd do it in shades of purple for me. So, pick your favorite color and do that.
