can you show us a picture of your finished product. I love that pattern. i've heard of the product and it supposedly just washes out.

Well, this is one of those patterns that I am really fascinated with...first saw a demo of it at a local, small quilt show, showing how to draft,and hand sew..she made it look so easy-well, not..at least for me, that's where I realized I could not eyeball a 1/4" seam, so that sits in a drawer. Then I found the templates for machine sewing....now that one I can do..have that ufo in another little drawer.......
this way was just a different approach...and that product I had not heard of, but I may try a table runner that way...but first I'll go to JAF and see if they have the comparable Pellon product

I'm wondering if a jelly roll would work for this??? Will have to get a protractor to draft it out to see. I can see this replacing my GFG, that is almost done, as my take along project. I've been eyeing this project for a while, but hadn't decided on a method for making it. Thanks for the link��

In case anyone else was wondering, the petals are 1.5"x5.5". Finding a locking compass that was big enough was interesting. I finally got mine at Harbor Freight for $5. It isn't professional quality, but it worked for this no problem.
