I have a hard time buying fabric online. I guess I just like to feel it and see it. We only have Walmart that does not have a lot of fabric, and Joannes which is not to bad. Better than nothing I suppose. The LQS is over an hour away.

Our Walmart hasn't had fabric for a while. I don't go there often. One day it was just gone. So sad.

Our Walmart hasn't had material for at least 2 years. I did buy material for halloween costumes, pillows but never quilts. The quality wasn't good and a quilt is a lot of work and I want it to last. Jo Ann fabrics also has some poor quality fabric that I won't buy for my quilts. I would rather wait until I can afford good quality fabric. Just me

They are just not being told. All the fabric departments will be eased out over the next yr. according to a local manager here. We still have some stores with and some stores who have already phased out their fabrics.

My Wally still has fabric but the department is smaller than before remodeling. Fabric is like anyplace else, you luck out or you skip it. We 're getting a Hobby Lobby soon. Anybody bought their fabric and what was you impression? We've never had ove before.

Hope so. That's about the only place left I can drive to without driving miles and miles.
