I would have loved to have been able to correct the spelling, but, alas, there is not an “edit” option for correcting titles. Good catch on your part.

There is no D.

Sandy,

Check the advanced edit feature. It appears the edit or advanced edit features are only available for a short time though. I had a typo in one of my post titles and could change it using "advanced". Hope that helps. Rhonda K

Well, I am a retired English teacher(38 years) and it really bothers me when people misspell words or mispronounces words. It seems that they are too lazy to care and assume that the reader will correct.

It is not always that they are lazy. There are cases of spell-check changing a word. It can also be a typo that wasn't caught before submitting a post. Quick fingers. LOL!

Thank you! I hope it allows editing the title...not just the body of the message. Too late for this thread tho.

I am the same way. I have friends who love to spend time with me just talking about the mistakes we find in newspapers and such. But, calolynjo, you need to reread what you wrote. LOL

I figured it out! Selvedge is correct as is selvage. If you put the d in, it has to spell the word "edge". With no "d", you use age.

I’m laughing here, I’m From the UK, Scotland and a lot of spell checkers correct the English Spelling to American, such as mom for mum, color for colour, its a crazy old world
