    I think the replacement leads are quite expensive for the lead that you get.

    I stood one day at a quilt store counter with a clerk and tried out all the colors of the Sewline pencil. Question was which color(s) worked best for most fabrics. Long story of marking short, it ended up with both the white and yellow. I do like this pencil, but still use a BH #5 lead for most marking of background patterns for applique.

    Again, do you have to "erase" the lines???? rubbing my fabric isn't something I want to do. anyone????

    Thanks for this post. I had wondered about the Sewline pens. I will definitely have to try one. It would be great to have one 'go to" pen.
