Please tell me where I can find a Sewline maker? I have checked several quilt shops online
and can't find someone who carries them.

Blue wash out markers? What kind of marker and where do you get them?

I have the Sewline pencil & it's fine, but I wonder, how is it really any different from any other mechanical pencil. Is the lead different?

Amelia, my blue wash out markers are by Clover. Perhaps JoAnn's or a quilt store. if not, online should work for you. always test anyway but I've never had a problem. I tend to soak my quilt in my washer, spin out and re-soak and spin. I do tend to spritz the marks out but soak later anyway. haven't located my Sew line pencil to see if one must erase or not.

I use these chalk wheels too in both regular sewing and piecing. And I like the narrow easy to see lines. But I don't mark pieces too far in advance of sewing so I don't know how well it stays for several days.
