Last minute Quilt along
#21
Mdall - No hole for me I'm a good girl just ask DH, (I even helped him fork a friends lawn! about 5,000 forks
). Finished the binding, now to find my tatting needle, picked up what I was working on and needle is missing. Warned DH as he always finds my needles by walking on them. I didn't think it would be hard to find the thing, it is 4 inches long
I will take a second trip around the house and look for it. Other wise I will onto scraps.

Well, took the time to talk to DH, decided to lay on the couch and rest my shoulders and neck for a bit till he went back to work and guess what? YOu know, fell asleep. Oh well, just means I can stay up later finishing things up.
Judith, feel free to join in when you get home. I am sure some of us will be here till late tonight.
Well, appliques are calling my name.

Could not find the needle so worked on putting beads on some ornaments for the swap

The star is about 1.5 inches tall, I have two in green and two in yellow, the yellow are smaller. I plan on doing two also in white and having all gold beads.
Having swiss steak for dinner then back to sewing after dinner.
Mdall hope you enjoyed the nap, that is something I just can't do, unless I am very sick.

Hi, just sat down to take a break and noticed your quilt along, mdall. I have been working on an autumn fabric box which I plan to glitz up tonight while watching tv with DH. Also working on piecing a scrap flannel quilt. It is a girlie quilt. Not sure who it will go to when finished but I am enjoying putting it together since it is all from leftovers meant for the garbage can.

Dedemac, love that ornament. I bet the white ones would look great one my tree. LOL A nap is something I can take anytime. The only problem with it is I usually wake up feeling worse than I did before I fell asleep. Napping is sometimes a necessity. I suffer from insomnia on a regular basis and a nap is the only way to get through the day. Any who, see you after dinner.
cindyIN, youre welcome. I hate sewing alone. With a quilt along I feel like I have a group around me even if I am still stuck talking to myself. If we could just plan a all day skyping quilt along then things would be great.
Well, just about finished stuffing my face full of mac and cheese, yes I am a big ol kid. Have about half of the appliques stitched around so back to that once belly is full.

Well, I spent most of my day washing fabric and trimming squares. Washed the piece I was planning to use, then decided to just go ahead and wash the rest. Still have several lengths, to go. Problem is I like to wash only one piece (4 yards) at a time, to prevent massive tangling . . . and I have one of those crazy HE washers, that takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to complete a load.
