I did not use batting as it makes it too bulky and warm for a throw. Raised over $200 for the cause. Drawing this afternoon as my sister sold more tickets.

Everyone wants quilts now, but I'm learning to say no- it comes easier after the first time. Making a quilt now for my Mom, she'll be home from the nursing home soon (recuperating from a broken hip) and has downsized to a twin bed.
