Quilt for raffle for AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) for our team. Raising funds for our team for walk held each year.

Pattern I made up. Saw something similar for fat quarters and I changed the borders and sizes. Red, black and white with black fleece on back. Collects fuzzies. :) Turned out to be 65 x 72- big enough for a twin bed.

Not my colors, but cool looking.

I did not use batting as it makes it too bulky and warm for a throw. Raised over $200 for the cause. Drawing this afternoon as my sister sold more tickets.

Everyone wants quilts now, but I'm learning to say no- it comes easier after the first time. Making a quilt now for my Mom, she'll be home from the nursing home soon (recuperating from a broken hip) and has downsized to a twin bed.
