I took a class from Lynn Wheatley, a certified Laura Heine teacher, at the Vt. Q F this June. These patterns and method are easy and yes can become addictive!

I'm working on "Abilene", and I have the fabrics cut. My stumbling block is I am "dehorning" the animal and narrowing the face as I want it to look like a dairy cow...also using shades of golds-rust as I want a Guernsey. I have a ways to go to get to the quilting point. The shop sample used a narrow vertical stitching throughout. I have a couple of old dairy feed sacks (think flour sack weight) that I plan on using for a collage background.

Please share the Moose when you finish.
