My problem is I always think of new things to make at the last minute!

I like to start in January after the tree is down and the boxes of decorations are put away. That is perfect sewing time because it is so cold here for Jan-April that I don't go out much at all. So I sew.....if I am not done by April or May they get put away until October when it starts getting cooler again.......I don't quilt in the summer unless it is an emergency gift.....not many of those...

I don't like to quilt under pressure, so let's start our gifts in January.

Agree, but I got to get my Christmas items put up first, then onto the projects for the new year. I look for useful items so I don't think I can go wrong with making and stashing them away!
