I would say try it. You CAN do it take the challenge then if you get stuck we are here for you. I thought the log cabin was a hard block and would not try it. See my avatar i did it and it was easy. One step at a time you can do it and I bet it would turn out beautiful!

I would say that some blocks are fairly easy and others a little more difficult, but I certainly think you can do it.

Ok!! I'm going to do it!! I practiced some paper piecing today and found it something I think I could successfully do. I just need to get to the fabric store to pick out fabric. Thanks for everyones support!!

If you practice making some PP pieces that are fairly easy and you make something like a runner or tabletop, and you have no problems, I say go for it. I think it is a great quilt for a confident beginner, too.
