What level of quilting do you think this pattern is? I really like bit, but I don't want to attempt something that is beyond my ability.

I love that quilt. I may have to make it myself! I don't know if you have done any paper piecing, but if you have, you shouldn't have any trouble with this quilt. I would say it's intermediate with knowledge of paper piecing.

It depends.Have you ever paper pieced before? If not I would go to the paper piecing tutorial and try a sample block first and see how you like paper piecing. If you like it then I would try one of the simpler crosses and work your way thru.

I really love that quilt. It isn't really easy, but if you love it you will be motivated to finish it. The colors are beautiful!! Don't get frustrated just take your time.

Doing the points is the trickiest part. If you are a beginner, that's the one that will give you the most trouble. It's a very nice quilt. I like it.

She says right on the pattern that "beginner's with some experience in FPP should be able to accomplish these patterns without a problem."

Well now you've gave me another "someday" quilt to do! LOL! I have been looking for a "cross" pattern and this is a great one!

As for the level of expertise, I can't help you there. I think it would be "doable" for me, using paper piecing. BUT, I don't care to try anything! LOL!

I haven't done any paper piecing yet. Guess I'd better practice first. Thanks for all your input!!

I'm thinking that if you find you're not crazy about paper piecing some of Rhonda's cut down techniques would work for this. Good luck!
