Sounds like something out of a horror movie. Must avoid them.

A store I used to like moved to a differant location. Since moving (a couple years ago) it has gotten cluttered, dirty and she has her husband in there with his pit bull wandering around all the time. Dog is not mean but I still don't like a strange dog charging at me or sniffing me when I am trying to shop!

I hear you about it being an uncomfortable experience, but I can't jump on the slam-wagon...sorry. Those gals were at least trying to make a living, so I'd have to give them credit for investing their time and money in their inventory, if nothing else. I wouldn't have been comfortable buying something from a dirty store, either, but the chatty gal doesn't sound much different than most of us here on QB!

I agree completly.. Keep the Dogs OUT ... I happen to like dogs but not everyone does. I went into what I thought was a really nice shop twice and it was fine.. the next two times I was there. they had a big Lab in the store.. The owner even took the dog outside to go while I was there. She was the only one in the store.. I just thought that was strange.
Also. now I wonder.. is there dog hair on the fabric.. does the dog have fleas.. I dont know I just know I wont be buying from them.

Ughh, I can't even imagine a place like those. Who would buy musty, dirty, cat smelling fabric?
