I keep those little shout stain remover pads by my machine. You might try one of those if the saliva trick doesn't work.

Hi there I was a Childcare provider and have had blood on my clothes and have found that Hydrogen Peroxide takes the blood out. Not sure if it will harm the material. Have a great day.

All the time! If the quilt is for a family member, I leave it, and then tell them I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this thing so you better take care of it, and then i show them the little blood spot! Cheesy, I know, but hey whatever works, ya know?

I keep a couple shout stain remover packets in my sewing box. They work very well.

I'd dab on some oxy clean or something similar, then soak in cold water for a bit. Check periodically and when the stains are out launder as usual.

I was told years ago that your own saliva will take out blood. It works, on new blood anyway, not sure on dried.

I usually immediately wet the spot with my saliva, and wash in cold water. Presto, the spot is gone.

Don't know if it will work for you, try wetting the spot with cold water, then your saliva, wait a couple of seconds and then wash again, repeat if you need to.

Hope it works, let us know for future reference.

I'd recommend salt water and rinse on blood spots

Hydrogen peroxide works like a charm. Use a q-tip to dab.
