I think it is beautiful. I love the colors. I've tried this pattern numerous times and can't get it even close to this. I'd leave it alone. If you want it bigger I'd add borders around it using some of your existing colors. Fabulous!

Those few seams don't seem to be out by much but I can understand if it's annoying you. I would undo the offending seams and try fudging them. Nice work BTW. There are a lot of seams to line up in this pattern so it's not one I envision making but good for you for having a go and I hope it turns out to your satisfaction.

I think you done an awesome job. If it were mine I wouldn't take it apart. I think when it is all quilted & washed that you won't even notice it. Beautiful color choices too. Although I love the Lone Star pattern, I am very intimidated by it & have never tried it. You should be very proud of it

Can you hear me shouting, "Leave it alone!" If it lies flat, it's perfect. If you pick out the seams you will never get it to lie flat and be perfect. It will end up in the trash and you will be in tears. You will never forget the experience. Ask me how I know! Believe me those bias edges are the devil. It is a gorgeous quilt. Leave it alone and enjoy your lovely outcome!

I think this is my preferred solution. I can take the triangles out and replace them with oversized ones and let the star float. I have plenty of the white fabric, and it is not expensive, plus I will put it in the scrap bin, so it isn't a total loss. This may end up being my project for today.

it is beautiful, and so glad to see you are going to keep the star and just replace the white.
I am/was a perfectionist. Then I went to a quilt museum and realized that there isn't a one out there that is "perfect". I have even seen photos in quilt books/magazines where the points don't align.
Not sure what your plans on for this but no one else will see it but you.

Excellent job!! Love your color choices, and your piecing looks phenomal; as others suggested, I would leave it as is! This is on my bucket list to complete, but I have been far to frustrated with the end results to continue, hats off to you.
