Default Long Arm Quilting Help Needed

Husband purchased a Babylock Crown Jewel II for me. Really like it. However still have many questions. Such as how to save projects with different block designs, etc. Is there a blog or discussion group that you know of that might help? Have looked at tutorials and YouTube and found lots of general assistance. But need to be able to ask more specific questions.

I just did a google search for Babylock Crown Jewel groups and lots of things popped up. You would have to search through the list to see if any are what you are looking for. Also perhaps reposting this with Babylock Crown Jewel in the title (instead of Long Arm Quilting Help Needed) will attract other Babylock Crown Jewel machine owners.

Under yahoo groups, there is a Jewels in Motion group that you could join. You did not indicate if your machine has computerized quilting on it or what software might have come with it. If it does have computerized quilting, you may want to join the HQ Pro Stitcher group and the Art and Stitch group.

You might also check on YouTube. I have a different machine, but there are some videos I have used to help me get started. The Yahoo idea is great! There is nothing like having someone else who 'speaks' your machine!

Yahoo has LAQ groups. Are you not able to get any support from the local dealer??? Usually they give classes so you can learn the basics.

There is a Facebook group called "Baby Lock Crown Jewel Owners." The organizer is Ginny Hildreth and she is awesome.

You might also look into the training classes offered by Baby Lock. I purchased a Crown Jewel a few years ago. After working on my own for a year, I took the training class in St. Louis and learned so much.

I would go to the babylock dealer. The machine should have come with free classes.
