Does anyone know any long-arm quilters in the Denver Colorado area. I don't quilt my own quilts and my long-arm quilter is quilte expensive. I think she charges 3 1/2 cents per square inch for all over quilting. Is that the standard rate for all of them. I just can't afford it and I would really like to get my quilts done. I know I should learn how do it my self, but I am so intimadated!!! To much work and not enough time. Any help or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated!

Try joining the homequiltingsystems group at http://groups.yahoo.com . It is a very active group with a lot of members; you may find several longarm quilters in your area willing to quote you.

Help please. I have a brand new HQ18 long arm machine. It refuses to pick up the bobbin thread. I have tried turning the needle so the eye points exactly forward. I have tried three different needles. I've gone thru Handiquilters website and it just tells you to call their techs. Ugh. I am using a tightly wound bobbin, I have checked the threading of the top thread over and over and over. I am thinking it might be a timing issue, but hopefully there is a SIMPLE answer that does not involve a tech. Help help please
