    Here's a little tip. If you're getting a lot of lint from a certain thread, try using the next size larger needle. Most of the time that does the trick. The thread is rubbing on the needle and in the eye which causes lint.

    Wow, great info here. I've been thinking these past several years of buying a LA and love all the input you give. Helps in making that big expensive move a bit easier.

    Hey Mary Jo
    I'm a shop owner and a longarmer and we use Superior Threads and King Tut both work great. What you are using now is really not the best for your machine,lots of lint. Hope this is helpful

    Thanks! I haven't actually got my machine just yet, (don't know what you thought I'm using), I can't make up my mind just what to use just yet, but do so appreciate all the info!
