Default Looking for a pattern - something with rainbows.

Niece was here for a few days, and asked if I could make her a quilt with rainbows on it.
Hoping I would get some information from someone that knew of a good pattern I could
purchase. She has already been into my stash and chose all the bright colors for her
quilt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanking everyone for your help!

This might be a good time to do a crayon quilt, or painted quilt, then quilt it with clouds.

Is it the actual rainbow she wants or just the colors in a rainbow? Knowing this could help with choices. My first thought was if it's just the colors of the rainbow then a Trip Around the World or maybe a Dresden Fan on blue would work. Heavens just too may choices out there!

I did a search I found some cute ones some of our board members have made in the past. Some are actual rainbows....some rainbow colors:

Or maybe she'd be happy with a fabric with rainbows on it in a pattern that shows off the fabric.

I'd probably find fabric with rainbows and work with the fabrics she picked out for alternate blocks.

Just because I can never remember the mnemonic, here are the colors in order:
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet

A number of years ago I designed a "rainbow trout" block, bars of the rainbow for the body, plus a couple of triangles for the face and a couple for the tail. That doesn't sound right for your niece but it was well loved by the son of a fisherman I gave it to

    Much cheaper on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rainbow+f...sl_4sw58lxv9_e
