Google "Shimmering triangles" and you can get the pattern and see a variety of quilts. This is one I want to do also. One of the pictures shows where someone drew squares on the picture to show where the block is. Good luck

This website has a great look at one of these quilts as it is being designed. Interestingly enough, her quilt started with the squares in the center and makes the smaller 4 patch HST's to go with the squares. A great way to get the color placements you want. http://gnomeangel.com/category/arts-...ing-triangles/

Oh yes....I am too interested in this quilt. I HAVE to finish some UFO's. HAVE TO!!!!!

I am still fascinated with this quilt. After looking at both the Shimmering Triangles and the Batik Blur, I realized they are definitely 2 different patterns. They make similar quilts but the triangles are different in the quilts. The Batik Bur is actually a combo of the Corn & Beans block alternating with a solid to get the effect. The Shimmering Triangles are HST's alternating with big focus blocks. Very similar, but at the same time very different. I am drawn to the Batik Blur, even though it will be slightly more complicated to design the color placements.

It's also shown in a wonderful book called The Quiltmaker's Gift. Don't have the book here but it is maybe 10 years old?

Interesting. I automatically assumed the OP was planning on PURCHASING the patterns (maybe collaborating with the designer?) to include in her kits, it never occurred to me that she would photocopy it. I'm naive, I guess.
