I use them in table toppers, table runners, and placeats.

When I get too many pieces I just drop it off at the Thrift Store.

Before I knew that overlapping was a "NoNo" I did a quilt where the batting overlapped and you really can't tell. Althought its down near the bottom...I guess as long as you don't get crazy~you can do anything you want. And I have buckets of leftover pieces and do what everyone else has said...I use them for smaller projects and NOW I carefully butt them together when needed and use the too small pieces as stuffing. Nothing goes to waste. =)

I just joined some batting recently (for the 1st time) & was so pleased that it worked so nicely. I did it by hand with loose stitches. I think I learned about it on this board. You learn SO MUCH reading all the posts.
