I am a pickle posse member too. Talk about hooked on Mark. Do what you feel, cupcakes. LOL

This explains why he isn't doing Quilter's Home any longer. I probably won't renew it. He has a special way with words! I always got a big laugh from his writing. Our prayers are with him and his donor.
Love McCalls, guess this would be it if I could only get one. I am letting my subscriptions expire on most of the others.

OK I need to keep track of what everyone said so I can make a decision. My hubby subscribes for the magazines he wants so I decided that I should be able to subscribe to the magazine of my choice. i just may have to subscribe to more than one. LOL

I buy Quilting and Patchwork uk, the ones I really like are the Australians Stitchery Homespun ect they are expensive but worth it for all the ideas. If I see them I always buy one.Flair is quite good and Designs in Embroidery. There are so many I have collected quite a few different ones to keep me going but its the prices!

This is the ONLY one I read now. I have purchased books (hard and soft cover) for patterns. Why buy when we now have all these quilting friends that are so helpful, informative, and supportive to each of us. Nope no more space needed for books, just space in my heart and mind for each of you. Thanks

I've cut back on paper so right now I read Quilt World, I subscribe to the digital copy. I also "read" at the magazine stands. ;) If I like what I see I buy it!

I agree about Quilter's Home. I got the latest edition and was very disappointed. I did find the new Quick Quilts at a store and bought that because there is more than one pattern in it that I want to make. My new rule (since I'm now retired) is that a book or magazine has to have 2 or 3 patterns in it that I will make. There are just too expensive any more.

Quilters Home. I adore all the stories and information mixed with just the right amount of pattern. And they also let you go online to print the patterns and templates so you don't get any torn up books or missing pattern sheets.

I just discovered "Quilter's World" and really like it. My favorite for a long time has been the Better Homes and Garden "Quilt Sampler".
