Cut the panels apart and use another block in between the panels.

Cut the pictures apart and use checker boards, flying geese, small 9 patches, churn dashes, and friendship stars to fill out the rest of the quilt. A design wall will help a lot.

agree, the first thing I would do is to measure to make sure they are all the same size. Often they are an odd size or you have to give up part of the border to cut them apart and get the right seam allowance.

However, from looking at that one, it looks to be easier than most since they all look the same size.

I would add a border to get them to a standard size though if they aren't already. Then you can use any pieced blocks that fit the same size.

Agree with cutting apart. Add a slightly oversized frame and trim all to the same size. Then you can create any type of sashing you want.

They don't have to all be the same size. Draw a square one half or one third the size of the quilt top. Place the picture somewhere in the square, fill in the rest of the square with a variety of pieced blocks and pieced and appliqued filler strips. Do the same for the next one but put the picture in a different part of the square you draw. It'll add a whole lot more interest to your quilt.
