The big squares can be fussy cut if you want to do a theme. I did a nature theme for my husband and a motorcycle theme for my Dad.

My favorite for a man - 9 patch with a snowball! This one is chocolate and turquoise for my cousin - and a white and turquoise for an aunt, both in flannel. Can you tell the turquoise was on sale, LOL!

After making one for myself, I'm again collecting plaid flannels for two more--one for my son and one for my stepson.

I agree. Warm wishes is an easy pattern that looks great. I just finished a baby quilt for a boy with frogs. It may be my new favorite pattern.
