Charlotte Warr Anderson's new book "One Line at a Time", has directions how to use the 8 1/2 by 11 removable paper backed labels for straight line quilting. The book has designs that can be printed on the paper, cut into strips and reused many times. You don't sew on the paper.

I have a "Chaco Liner" i bought at a quilt shop. It has a tiny wheel on the end that you draw you design with. When it gets empty, instead of buying refills I put cornstarch in it and it works fine for me. I also have a purple disappearing pen that I like a lot. But seems everyone had there own way of marking a quilt. Marge
