Lots! The Twin Cities is a large area, though. Do you know where you will be staying?

How far are you willing to travel from where you are staying?

You can google "Minnesota Quilt Shops" and quite a few names come up.

The Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop is August 1st through August 17th. There are 8 shops listed for the metro section. On the Metro page the website links for each shop are listed and also the hours they are open. There is also a map that can be downloaded, showing the location of the shops. The site is easy to use. Just click on another section to see the information on the participating shops and get a map of the area.

You didn't mention when you will be visiting here, but if it's not during the shop hop, just check the websites for the shop's hours. I went on the Metro bus tour last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.

These are my absolutely FAVROITE quilt stores in MN:

- Quilt Cove (http://www.quiltcove.com) located in Eagan
- Millie P's (http://www.millieps.com) located in Anoka
- Blue Bamboo (http://www.mybluebamboo.com) in Plymouth
- Bear Patch (http://www.bearpatchquilting.com) in White Bear Lake

I lived in Minnesota for 20+ years and by far, these are my absolute favorite quilt stores. If you get a chance to even go to one of these stores, I think you'll be very pleased
