Missing
Where do things dissappear to. I had almost a whole shoe box of 3 1/2" tumbler blocks cut out. Now I can not find them anywhere. I really do not want to tear up the sewing room, but this is going to drive me nuts.

They are probably with a rotary cutter I "lost" about 20 years ago. Still makes me nuts that it never re-appeared. It's not like I would have ever had a reason to take it out of the house.
I call this place where "stuff" goes "the land of the lost". Somedays I think I am there too!

Will be hoping you find them before in desperation you start cutting new ones. I did that with some white strips I had cut. Little thread cutting scissors and rippers seem to disappear here, even though I have a lot of each.

I bet that has has been something we have all done. I sometimes buy fabric for a pattern and put everything together in large plastic bags. I lost one for the longest time. I found about a year later when I was searching for another lost project.

My dad lost his hearing aids last fall. They were the tiny 'in your ear' style, but were the latest technology, and therefore about $7 grand!! The fault fell on my great nephew, 2 at the time, who was suspected to have 1. swallowed them, 2. flushed them, 3. tossed them down the furnace grate. Well, this spring they were found. Outside, semi-buried in the ground beside a small cement "cow" statue that they have in the yard. Every grandchild 'rides' that cow at some time in their young lives, so he was only having his turn lol.
