The projects are easy enough for a novice, tho I did see one or two with paper piecing. It was VERY simple paper piecing tho, only 3 pcs. The quilts are modern-ISH. Most are updated versions of traditional patterns, like the Jacob's Ladder and the Periwinkle and the Snowball. You'll love it! It's so nice.

Mine just arrived today. Hurray! Just looked at the postal marking: it says Richmond, VA. That explains a lot. It took the long way to get here.
Interesting layout: it is landscape, rather than traditional book format. It looks great with all the pictures. I am going to have to sit down and really check it out.

Finally received mine today. It is fantastic. Kept reading how great it was but it is nothing like I thought it would be. The quality is wonderful especially for a "magazine". I agree with everyone- it is a keeper!!

After posting on here yesterday that I hadn't received mine it came in the mail... Love it! Love MSQC, Jenny Doan and her family are some real great folks to of started such a business to bring back a small town like that. I had no idea there were so many folks employed by them... It is such a great story... I love the store too. I have had the pleasure of getting to go shopping there.

It is awesome and worth the wait. Sorry you don't have yours yet. Plan on a warm quilt to wrap up in a cup of tea and nice fireplace to spend a few hours just looking. Or if you aren't still having winter enjoy it anyway you want. So happy I ordered it and hope they continue publishing it.
