My favorite specialty rulers are the Deb Tucker rulers. I use them for all of the quilts I make. I design the quilt on EQ8 and figure out how to make the sub units/blocks with my Tucker rulers. I have almost all of them. One of the great things about them is that one ruler makes a large range of block/unit sizes.

For all the many years I have been quilting, I have done 99% of my work with my Olfa frosted 6x12 ruler. Love them and use it for everything (I am on ruler #3 - the other two just wore out!!). I swore I did not need to spend lots of money on specialty rulers. I might, however, be a convert now .....
Recently I had bought a kit and it required the Deb Tucker Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Ruler. I had thought about paper piecing the stars bit was unsure if I would have enough fabric to paper piece. So, I borrowed the ruler from a friend. It has become my favorite ruler! I think I need to buy one!!! The stars came out perfectly, the directions straight forward and so I kept on going ... I made the runner, a Christmas table topper, a blue and gold runner and when done with those had several singleton stars left over that I will turn into "little" quilts for under lamps and such.

My favorite ruler, since I work on a small surface is the Quickline II, by Nancy Crow. It is now wearing out at the edges and to my sorrow, I have tried to get another to no avail. This ruler is 13" x 3" and it is the perfect size for my work. I am going to miss this ruler a lot.

I have a couple of Deb Tucker's rulers but no idea why I bought them!
After the holidays I'm going to check out her website to see what they can make.
I have an easy angle (for many years) and I totally forgot about it. I need a better
way to store my rulers.
