I was reading through to see if anyone else suggested pandora.com. I LOVE that! You can put in a favorite singer - or even type of music, and they make a little "radio station" for you. The music keep playing on your computer - and it even plays in the background if you change to, say, quiltingboard.com!
Just went to Pandora.com and my computer's security says it's not a safe site. Actually said it was "Very Dangeroug".?????

No doubt you have your security settings on "Very High". Pandora is very safe.
Thanks for the possible reason..."high security setting". My DH is the one with all the tech 'skills' so I have no idea what it's set on. I just know that if anything happens, it's "something you must have done".

I tend to put in old movies that I know very well and also like to listen to, ie. Amadeaus; Ever After; Sense and Sensibility; Persuasion. but I also like musicals: The King and I; My Fair Lady; Fiddler on the Roof. I can tune my direct TV to a musical channel, big band, jazz, bluegrass.

I have used Pandora since January, and have had no problems. I have a very good security system on my computer, plus I run a cleaner every week and it has never showed any issues with this website. Maybe you can check with your tech people???

Classic Country, Waylon and Willie, Merle, Patsy , Tammie and George. When I sewed in the dinning room I would get up and dance but in my little sewing room I don't have enough open space and it's too hard with the carpet. People who don't get country music say it is all so sad. But it's not the words it's the music, it makes me happy.

Depends on my mood I think usually the 80's hair bands love Def Leppard. But also Marina Raye ...very relaxing music and soft.

I turn on the radio and listen to soft rock, and oldies but goodies.
