    Thumbs up Muslin buy

I just got back from the fabric store. They have a 60% coupon going [Mill End Textiles - fairly local and don't do online orders]. I got a full bolt [20yds] of 48" wide muslin for just over $1/yd!!!! On top of that, I used the gift card my DD gave me for Christmas. WooHoo!
I'm going to start my Dear Jane journey. I bought the software years ago. The recent Dear Jane group has inspired me to get started.

You score! And don't forget that you can hand dye muslin (almost) any color you want. Stay away from dye in bottles such as Rite dye but go for the procion dyes. Messier and not as fast but gives you a lot more options. Good buy.

Lucky you. Joann's had muslin on sale in their last flyer but I was too busy with Christmas etc. to get there. Just got the new flyer today...fingers crossed it's on sale again.
