my "seam ripper" has a tendency to curse when the sewing machine slips and messes a seam up...lol I keep at least 4 on hand, just in case one gets a potty mouth.

I truly hate seam ripping. It is probably the only thing on earth that I can say the word hate with. I will sometimes just cut new pieces and toss the bad rather than ripping them apart. I feel your pain.

I do alot of computer graphic work, and there are times when I'm sewing and realize I made a mistake, and I automatically move my hands like I'm hitting the "control Z" (undo) button on the keyboard... then I realize --darn--- I have to get the seam ripper.

I'm pretty friendly with mine. I curse myself when I have to use it but I sure can't live without it!
