    I bought a box of Rubber Finger Tips at Staples Office Supply. I cut the tips off and use to 'catch" the needle with. Discovered they work good as thimbles and are great needle grips. I love them. Only cost me $2.29, too!

    I have a box of these, never thought about cutting the tip off to grab the needle-great idea! :)

    I bet you could use these tips to help when we do free motion quilting. I have the grip gloves, but they make my hands HOT.

    What a great idea. I have cut the tips off rubber gloves for use as a needle puller.

    Yeah, I hate most thimbles; they're hot and cumbersome. I love these.
