non-quilters are all alike regardless of gender :)
    we can only educate them-
and hold back our projects until they are complete-meaning quilted and bound :)
Some of us even get bit by the quilting bug and start making them.

My husband always tries to come up with something positive to say when I show him a finished or semi-finished quilt. He remembers that I've complained when I've had to re-sew seams to get points to match up so he knows that points are important. His ultimate compliment when I show him a quilt? "It's very pointy." He tries.

I'm sorry to hear your husband wasn't more supportive. Even though my husband doesn't always like what I make, he knows how much effort goes into a quilt. He's actually help me design some quilts.

bed. The next AM he said, "oh, see I knew you could just whip this up, and you even made them more comfortable somehow!"
tsk tsk - I really don't think he's just playing dumb about this sometimes! sharet[/quote]
