Your DGD is a darling for thinking about you and giving you all that fabric.

That is wonderful. A friend of mine, who doesn't sew, brought me 2 pkg's of batting on Sat. Seems her neighbor is moving and putting stuff out on the trash and my friend dug thru it and found these 2 pkgs. They have been opened and used but still plenty for small projects. This week has been like Christmas for me!

My sister's church quilting ladies disbanded a couple years ago and this past month they offered their "stash" to anyone who wanted it. Several people looked it over and took one or two pieces of material but left about12-15 boxes of various sizes, so my sisters who were doing the cleaning had to get rid of it. Guess who they brought it to???? ME!!! I have several boxes of already cut blocks of double knits of various sizes plus material needing to be cut! I'm in heaven....now to find a place for it!! Hubby doesn't think I'm so lucky cuz he knows he'll have to carry it upstairs!! :D

In the end, the one with the most fabric wins!
