Ya know, I can "grow fabrics" like yours, but I can't grow african violets. We have had two plants for about 2-3 years and never a bloom!

What a lovely space...wouldnt it be lovely to have a sewing room with doors leading to a garden? Maybe when I win that lottery lol :-D

I just love this thread! Seeing your room was such a joy - and reading all the tips about growing African Violets was a real bonus.
I have great luck growing African "Leaves" - maybe if I follow everyones advise, I may someday get the "VIOLETS" part!!

I think it looks so nice having the plants in there, so nice and fresh looking.

Beautiful...love the violets. I grow them too and enjoy them so much! Especially in the winter. I miss greenery and flowers in the winter.

Oh my goodness, I see sun at her house. So jealous. Love the flowers, I have a green thumb but have been too busy to play with them much. Thank goodness they manage on their own. Love your room, so cheerful.

Nice room! I love all the natural light & your African Violets. I have a hard time growing them so I gave up.

I love your roommates. When I was a child, I remember a lady down the street raised African Violets in the windows like yours. They were always in bloom and a real treat to see. How pretty and happy they must make you whenever you go in to sew.
