I still can't believe that she went to so much trouble for a complete stranger, but this quilt is now one of my most prized possessions - both for its beauty and the love that went into it.
Wildyard - you are a very special person and the world is a better place because of your presence in it.

Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts and wishes. I would appreciate it if you would all please add in another couple of people I know. Both have young families and both have just been diagnosed with lymphoma.

Is there something special in the makeup of people who do crafts??? This is an awesome thing for a "stranger" to do for someone. I know many of you donate also. I belong to a Swwedish Weave forum also and the ladies and gents there are so supportive and complimentary of each other. When I retired I missed the commardity of people at the workplace. This group and others have filled the gap so well.
Good luck to you as you fight the Big C.
