These are all very thoughtful and of course, adventurous. I myself keep collecting oatmeal boxes and those crystal light containers. I help my sweet cowboy organize his shop with them.

Love the cat toys. I use a lot of thrift store sheets for quilt backs. I lay the sheets out on my cutting mat, butt a ruler up the the hems and cut them off. Those cut-off would be perfect for the cat toy tails.

Super ideas! Thanks so much for posting this. I've been saving scraps and have a ton of them but didn't know what to do with them. I love the idea of your picture number 5, just combining them in haphazard. Am going to try this for some coaster/mug rugs for stocking stuffers. Yayyyyyy!

I attend a quilting class at our local tech school. I began saving scraps for dog bed stuffings, and the class joined in. Some of the scraps I am going to keep for a string quilt - they are too nice and are larger than little snips of fabric that most quilters have given me. I have some extra fleece and jeans for the top and botton, and think I will line them with muslin. With those fabrics, they should be fully washable.
