Lucky You! I've been without a car all week and there is an Estate sale in the paper advertising quilting supplies and fabric. Talk about torture! I won't get my car back in time to go to it today, but tomorrow is the last day and I'll make sure to go.

You did great! I just caution you to do the thread breakage test on some of that thread. Looks pretty old, some of it. The old cotton threads don't hold up as well as the newer threads. So if it breaks easily when you pull it, I would suggest using it for decorating your sewing room, it may not hold up well in seams in a quilt. I have some that was my mother's and some from a deceased neighbor. I have those hanging on an antique thread rack. When I tried sewing with some of it, it kept breaking.
