Good idea. I know that when I am interested in the pattern for something I then read all of the posts, as usually someone has already posted the name of the pattern.

If it really upsets you to answer questions and even the sometimes innocently repeated question, then might I kindly suggest you refrain from posting pictures of your quilts? I have not posted any pictures of my quilts.....yet, but I am curious.....why do you post photos of your quilts? I assume because you want to share with others. Wouldn't you then assume folks might have questions? There are a lot of members on this board so I am sure it is easy to get numerous questions. I can imagine it might quickly become overwhelming. Rather than making mean comments about people (who are probably reading this) maybe you can state in you picture posting that you aren't willing or able to answer questions. That way people won't bother you. I am sure that no one on this board would intentionally create hardship or angst for others on the board. Happy Quilting!
I absolutely agree with you. I've rarely read such crabbiness in a thread, and I must admit it kind of discourages me from asking questions about a quilt, or posting pictures of anything I may have made.

I humbly suggest that everyone is free to post whatever information they see fit, and if someone wants to skip reading all the posts in a thread, well, that's their choice as well.
