Welcome, Nancy. Thank you for posting a link to your strippy quilt. Love scrappy quilts and this one looks fairly easy to make. Love the bright colors....another one to add to my last of "to do's" BTW, LOVE your show, too....you make everything seem so simple. Very well organized. Thanks again.

What a special feeling to know that a true celebrity has joined the site! Thanks for the insight about how to acquire past episodes of your show! I'm already learning stuff!

I also did a variation of that quilt called "Quilt to Give," you can find the instructions on my blog—www.nancyzieman.com/blog. It's way to use of scraps of fabric and then give the quilt to someone in need.
I've died and gone to Heaven, and I know it's the real thing bc there are quilters and you! on our humble little, lol, board! will be checking your site out for sure.

I had never heard of the Column Quilt until now. Can't wait to check it out!
Welcome Nancy to the quilting board. I love your show and have watched it for years- unfortunately not so much recently, but it's good to know they are online. Gotta check it out!

So very happy to see Nancy's info on our Quilting Board. I get her on our PBS from Tacoma, WA, but can't always watch when they are on. Try to record when possible.

I'm adding my thanks! Having learned so much from your shows, I'm delighted to find them on the Internet! My local PBS station no longer airs your show despite all the letters I've written. It's nice to be able to see them on my computer - I just watched the ones re Column quilts.

I started buying from your catalog when it was first introduced, so I've seen it go from an eensy teensy one to the big catalog it has become. For a long time, your catalog was my only source of many items, because I lived in rural Connecticut, and there were no quilt or fabric stores within an hour's drive. When your catalog arrived, I'd make a pot of tea and sit down with it for an afternoon to decide what to order.
