After searching a long time for a quilting board, earlier this year I found this site. I have always been very impressed an learned a lot. Today I was absolutly thrilled to see Nancy's post. Many years ago I started watching Nancy and that is really were I learned how to sew. Recently I bought a dvr recorder just to record quilting shows as i was afraid that I would lose the shows that I had on dvr. Thanks Nancy for posting, you have inspired many people with your show.

Default Nancy's column quilt

Here is the quilt that I made my 13 year old cousin just from watching Nancy's video on the TV. She picked out the colors and I had fun making it. Hope I load the picture as this is the first time I've tried attaching one since all the changes were made. Love the quilt pattern.

Nancy's program comes on in our area at Saturday mornings if the PBS station isn't running specialized self-improvement shows or donation drives. Have it set to DVR and save them for watching more than once. Will have to go back to this quilt. Love the bright colors used in the quilt Mary made for her 13 year old cousin. Wonderful to have Nancy as a member of the board.

I also did a variation of that quilt called "Quilt to Give," you can find the instructions on my blog—www.nancyzieman.com/blog. It's way to use of scraps of fabric and then give the quilt to someone in need.
Thank you so much for giving the link to the directions for the column quilts. I was looking for an idea for a baby on the way great grandchild BRIGHT quilt. This was exactly what I needed. I have watched your programs for a long time but missed these. Thanks again and for your bright smile always. Guess I'm an ancient quilting great grandma today.
