My biggest advice is that the cover sells the book. If you are including a quilt pattern with the book, you should show a picture of the finished quilt using that pattern on the cover, even if it is just a small inset photo.

Other option, sell it as a kit with fabric and a photo of finished quilt using that fabric.

All great ideas ... Making something from your book would be an attraction for sure, pictures of others if you have any to display. Blocks made up, etc. Link to quilting books sites etc. Get the word out there!! Good luck.

One was great and one was terrible, no foot traffic, I can't afford to do them much longer and these books are my dream. Questions?

What gets you to buy? What takes you to a blog? You buy from a quilt shop or internet?

I buy on internet/ebay-----in GB we have few good quilting shops ,if I want a book I usually go to the library and copy any relevant details.
Am sorry not much help, but Good Luck whichever way you go.
I need your input, PLEASE. thank you

There are lots of free patterns on line so when I buy a book it's because there is something unique in it.

-----But, when I was doing demo's with the block of the month and only had 1 color combination, not many sold; we only ordered a dozen and maybe 25 peole would come for the demo. When I did extra blocks with a different color combination we had to reorder, sold many more. Quilters are visual people.

I don't know if this helps.
