I think it's a very pretty quilt. A soft cream/yellow border would be sharp against it.

Glad you were able to locate the fabric line. I also think that the striped self fabric, a.k.a. piano keys, would be the best accent border you could make. It's a darling print, and your layout has done it justice.

You could call the shop and see if they have coordinating fabric. They may ship it to you cheap. However you should be able to find other fabric at LQS or Joann's

My choice would be the green around each block. You should be able to match the color in a solid or a very small print.

I think this is so pretty, maybe make a piano key type border with all the colors already in the quilt.

Another vote for blue. I agree that it should not be too difficult to find a good companion blue.

I'd look for a stripe with some of the major colors in the quilt. Put the stripe vertically on top/bottom and horizontally on the sides.

I went to a LQS and didn't find anything but at Jo-Ann's I found a cute one with a
white background and multi colored bubbles. I think I will use this for the backing. The quality just doesn't seem good enough to use on the front. I ordered 2 of the companion prints online last night. We'll see which one I choose....or maybe the piano keyboard....that sounds nice. How wide of strips to you sew together to make that? I'm pretty new to this and have never done it.
