I think you'll find the Quilter's Dream Puff is what your daughter may be looking for. W&N is nice and heavy, but the QD Puff has a fluff to it and poly retains body heat better than cotton or wool.

Warm n Natural is heavier than Hobbs 80/20, but it also makes the quilt stiffer. Hobbs would be my choice.
