I love it. You can adjust it up or down. It is very comfortable.

I use a swivel office style chair oln rollers that I found at Target for $17.00 a couple of years ago. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Easy on my back and height is adjustable to add to the comfort of sitting for long periods. Good luck

you're going to think I'm crazy, but as a 'Weight Watcher', I'm always looking for ways to put exercise into my day. When I don't use my swivel, low armed office chair, I'm on my YOGA ball!! It helps me to stay balanced and makes me hold my stomach tight. I don't stay on it for more than 20-30 minutes of sewing, but when I'm done, I feel like I've really worked my core!!

I hated the wheels Seemed like I was always snarling stuff in them -so I went back to my 1930's library chair. Its better on my back, too. Althou I did make me a nice quilted cushion for my seat. Now I can sew for hours between stretching the kinks out.

I am getting soooo close to my new sewing room becoming a reality (FINALLY) .... should be able to make that happen in a week or so
But I will need a chair for my sewing table (previously, I've used my dining room table). And I saw at Marshalls a great little desk-type chair with swivel wheels. And, OMG, it's sooo cute, Red (or Black) and the whole thing looks like it's done in one-layer of comfy leather (real or not!!).
And so, I thought, THAT would be a great sewing chair (and cute too); and then I got to thinking ...
do most of you use a SWIVEL CHAIR for sewing or just a simple STRAIGHT BACK CHAIR??? I have to admit, I've never used a swivel chair for my sewing, and don't know if I would like it or not. Would it be hard to sew with a hair that moves???
So, what does everyone use??? All opinions greatly appreciated!!!

I have both an armless (drafting) chair and an office chair with arms. Both are adjustable, but I moved the armed chair to my computer table because I like to get up close and personal with my sewing machine and fabric. The height adjustments are what sold me on these.
