    You can also use them for binding. The binding doesn't have to be all the same fabric, and scrappy binding can look very cool, depending on the center of the quilt.

    I'm making a Pineapple Blossom quilt with some of mine. I got the pattern from Bonnie Hunter from her www.quiltville.com web sight. She has lots of scrappy quilts that use 2 1/2" strips.

    I have done two quilts now that were the hidden wells pattern. I will see if I can post the one i did with a jelly roll. depending on how many repeats you have of the strips will make the top look different. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...t-t174943.html this used one jelly roll but if you have two or three of the same or similar colors it would look and be better. hope this helps.

    try strip patterns, such as strip joint, strip cocktail, strip a hoy, strip search, lots of patterns to choose from
