Lovely quilt. The colors are striking. Personally, I would use flannel for the backing

great quilt. If you pre-wash fabric, it doesn't really matter what combos you use -- flannel, cotton, whatever. But if you didn't pre-wash, I'd suggest you pick a flannel in a similar weight/thread count to the top. this way it all shrinks together later on. Good luck.

I love your pattern, is this your own design? or did you find this pattern somewhere. I have loads of purple, no crown royals fabric, just regular cotton, and would love to do some of my purples in this design. Would you share the pattern please? That turned out so pretty.

It's a beautiful top, but I didn't know what Crown Royal was. I had to google Crown Royal bags and then to find out what went in them.

Oh man your so clever! This is really neat. A little harder to quilt through, but I love flannel back quilts. Cozy and warm, plus it doesn't slip around on the bed. A lavender colour backing would be really pretty on this very pretty quilt.
